About my practice
As a recent graduate from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, I am on the path of Art Education. Along the way I have explored my interests in a variety of mediums. You will find my work ranges quite the spectrum in the fine arts--and occasionally crafts. Whatever medium takes a hold of me tomorrow will surely be another perfect for discovering the oddities and curiosities within my mind.
Many summers have been passed teaching techniques and skills in art, even science sometimes, at summer camps nearby. I have a great joy for teaching primary grade art because their creativity is bubbling over the top!
My practice is ever evolving and I currently have several.
I am intrigued by the freedom of shapes when the subconscious mind predominates.
I am awestruck by the beauty of colors in both, harmony and disharmony.
I am captivated by the making that is involved in craftsmanship.
I am overwhelmed by how happy, frustrated, and crazy it all makes me.
